The Board Room
The Fairlawn Sewer Authority is guided by a Board of Directors. The Board of Directors is comprised of five members who are appointed by the Pulaski County Board of Supervisors and serve three year terms. Board members are not limited to any specific term limits.
The Board manages daily operations for the sewer infrastructure in the immediate Fairlawn area. The Board administers sewer rates and the financial matters associated with the operation and maintenance of the infrastructure and supporting framework.
While the Fairlawn Sewer Authority operates as an independent unit, they rely heavily upon their partner relationships with Fairlawn Tax and Bookkeeping, Peppers Ferry Regional Wastewater Authority and the Pulaski County Public Service Authority.
The Board meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month, except December, at 6:00 p.m. Citizens are welcome to attend and a public comment period is available for citizens to advise the Board of concerns.
